Boring Bars
Made from induction hardened, chrome plated precision ground and polished steel; our bars are included in our Line Boring Sets and have square tool ports broached every 2.5” or 3” so that you can measure without pulling the shaft out. Use a Starrett 823 inside micrometer.

The optional Power Feed Assembly ensures consistent cutting and supports various motor options, including standard hand drills. Power Feed
The Power Feed Assembly provides consistent, automatic feed motion for line boring operations. It works with various motor types, including standard handheld drills. Unlike MAG drill setups – which require manual turning, offer limited control, and make it difficult to apply constant pressure – this unit delivers smooth, steady cuts with hands-free operation. Designed and manufactured by IRM, it integrates easily into your setup for reliable, repeatable results.

Bore Welder
Adds weld material around the bore for rebuilding worn surfaces (different manufacturer)
Carbide Cutters
Carbide-tipped tool bits for cutting and boring operations
Cones
UHMW-PE plastic cones with a metal sleeve for centering the boring bar in the bore
Modified Dial Caliper
Dial caliper with extended inside jaws to measure the bore while the bar is in place
Inner Grooving and Bore Measuring Tool
Spring-loaded insert for cutting snap ring grooves; can be swapped with a gauge to measure bores
Measuring Tolerance: 0.002”
Tool Positioner
Shows tool position in 0.001″ increments (radius), 0.002″ (diameter); for precise cutting setup
Minimum bore diameter: 2.5”
